John Fisher has been gone a while now, has Johnno, but his legacy lives on. His family.
He was a Mona Vale lad, and this sunday at 12.30 at Mona Vale Point he will be remembered again.
Though, to be true to his spirit, he only counted those waves as winners when he dropped in on a mate – Spike and Schvartz, who took the brunt of his illegal actions.
Fish was a lad, he was fun out there, and he knew the sea – and it was the cold sea that claimed him.
