The lift
For every wave we take there are a thousand we drift over
somebody else’s
we lift over
and lift our heads as we
crest over
sped past
by that moving sinew
of force
drawn to the coast
as we are drawn
to it’s passage
and fading boast

Have there always been so many incredible pictures of waves around? Or is it technology – to be there to shoot them, to make them available – that has brought them to my attention. I know that sounds like a dumb question, but this shot just blows me away.
