byron bay’s joke of the week
The council is installing a set of traffic lights in Byron’s main street.
The locals are aghast at the prospect.
But no worries, says the mayor – all the lights will stay green.

In the movie Starman, Jeff Bridges an alien, is driving the car and sees the lights change to orange. He accelerates, the woman who is dealing with him in the passenger seat freaks out. In his Jeff Bridges Alien way, he says Green go, Orange go faster.
I don’t know how that is applicable to this post, but I remember it.
