is

in general

read without pleasure.’

I thought for a moment it was Mark Twain, but it was an altogether interesting fellow I have not heard of before (wasn’t there an American in politics or a black man?) I have just searched. I was going to be smart and twist the saying around. But I can imagine Samuel walking up to me giving me a good clip over the head, with an associated exasperated exclamation while Pete is sitting in the corner with his drink laughing (because he has been wanting to do that for awhile).

I am in the mood to take the clip.

I keep looking at my comment, like it is something I have published. I get a buzz from it. Thanks Pete, for all the buzzes.

  3. Happy to share, old son … you’ve been around a long time, through thick and thin. More power to you.
